Greece was a main focus of Paul's ministry as he established congregations of Christians throughout the region. Greece is also foundational to our society & culture with its contributions to science, politics, mathematics, philosophy, architecture, the arts, literature & language, and more.
Join Florida College Professor Dr. Jason Longstreth on an illuminating, delightful tour to many of the places Paul personally knew. This trip visits much of Greece and includes a 3-day Aegean cruise. All are welcome, and students have the option to receive academic credit that can apply towards their college degree programs.
Begin your journey in Athens and Corinth, visiting famous historical and biblical sites including the Acropolis & Parthenon, Mars Hill, the Plaka district, and more. Next, enjoy a three-day cruise in the Aegean Sea with visits to Ephesus, Crete, Patmos, Santorini, and Mykonos. Relax as you sail the same waters that carried the Gospel and many of the foundational ideas that built our society.
Following your Greek island cruise, explore important Macedonia and Greece with visits to Thessalonica, Philippi, Neapolis, Berea, Delphi, Meteora, Amphipolis, Vergina (home of Alexander the Great), the battlefield of Thermopylae (the 300 Spartans), and more.
Return home from biblical Thessalonica with its beautiful seafront promenade and white tower. Visit other famous sites including Berea, the Oracle of Delphi, the tomb of Alexander's father Phillip II, and the city of Philippi where Paul first preached the Gospel in Europe. You will create memories and experiences to cherish for years to come.
This 11-day tour is offered at a price of $4,750 that includes international round-trip flights, all lodging & transportation, all taxes, fees, and surcharges, and most meals.
